Abstract

This paper reviews the literature on students with special educational needs in relation to the attitudes of Physical Education teachers. The studies described are variables that relate to students and their special educational needs in terms of degree, type and student competence. Furthermore, the studies reviewed study Physical Education teachers (age, gender, experience, academic training and perceived competence). The paper ends with some critical analysis and suggestions for further research.
