Abstract
The article analyses from a diachronic perspective the professionalisation of sports associations in Spain. It has four aims: 1) to show the incipient degree of professionalisation of most sports associations. 2) to show, also, how the associa- tions that have begun a process of transition towards new organised cultures inherent to the process of heterogenisation of sport, are very few. 3) to give some theoretical proposals about labour market in sport, and 4) to analyse the perspec- tives of evolution of the professionalisation in these associations. With regards to the method, we made a secondary analysis of data collected in a previous survey carried out by the author.
