Abstract
Physical Education teachers must encourage the development of our subject, and so, we must be prepared for the changes wich may occur. The new curriculum, wich will come into force in the years 200/03 and 2003/4, is the reference point of the article, and it mainly studies the new structures of the contens.
The text shows and analyses the new contens in Physical Education, approved by the Government last 29th december 2000. In the “Order in Council” published in the BOE on 16th january 2001, minimum objetives are established for the corresponding four years in Secondary Education.
This study is about the changes that will be impossed by the law in the curriculum of Physical Education and how these changes will be able to affect teachers’ action, both in carrying out the syllabus and in the treatment of the new contens in classes.
