Abstract
The objective of the present paper is to know means of coaches development to thus reach the degree of experts in basketball and to be able to arrive at the elite of the basketball. This qualitative investigation has been made from a biographical perspective, that is to say, analyzing the vital itinerary of the experts through a semistructured interview making open questions and thus, to define how it has been his career development, to know its degree knowledge, to develop its more significant means of formation,… The conclusions indicate to us that informal education, the practical experiences, mentoring, the exchange of information, the reflection on the practice and surroundings of learning, are the most significant methods of learning. These conclusions make us raise the present formation to us that is being made with the future coaches.
