Resistance to velocity as a conditioning factor of a football’s player performance
Abstract
Football’s own identity makes resistance to velocity an essential capacity to the footballer’s performance. The type of the efforts together with their organization during the match obliges the footballer to be trained so as to be able to put up with intense work sessions, short in time, which are repeated with an uncertain pattern during the competition. This essay aims to establish the importance of this specific training, as well as the way of organizing it and setting the proper tests to determine the level of control of this quality. The work parameters and a series of tasks of this control are pointed here to help develop the footballer’s resistance to velocity
