Abstract
Universal Declarasion of the Human Rights signed by the United Nations in 1948 defines education as an essential fundamental human right for the personal growth of the individual in harmony with the environment, rational development, and the advent of peace. At the beginnings of the new century, after more than half a century of the passing of this manifest, little has been achieved since almost 900 million adults are illiterate (majority of which are women) and there is still more than one hundere million kids without schooling. Education in general and physical education as an indispensable part of the education of the individual, have to play a decisive role in this process since there is no education without physical education.
