Abstract
The integration of information and communication technology (ICT) and digital resources in schools is promoting independent learning that combines classroom methods with semi face-to-face internet activities. How is this done in physical education? In this paper we describe how physical education teachers in Lleida use learning and knowledge technology (LKT) in secondary schools which are in the EduCAT 2.0 project. The study examines the goals of physical education teachers in the integration of ICT in their professional practice and in particular in their use of it in their classroom teaching (LKT). Our findings reveal the reasons for the difficulties encountered by teachers in using these digital tools and the grounds why they are not currently introduced into physical education teaching.
