Abstract
Goalball is a specific sport for blind or visual handicapped people. However, with this article we intend to make a proposal that gives an answer to the students with special educational needs and also, to promote a feeling of increased awareness and integration on sighted students with regard to this disability. The innovation of this Didactic Unit is due to its own contents (being the goalball a entirely new sport for the ESO and highschool students) and therefore the educational methods based on investigation, as guided discovery or solution to problems, have a great acceptance into this unit.
