Abstract
This experimental study tries to show how previous cognitive information about a sport tactical action is effective for the real action performance.
The cognitive information consisted in showing pictures of the tactical actions to be executed in real practice. Each player of the experimental group received that information. The player of the control group didn’t receive that information and instead of this a basketball video was shown.
The results of this study clearly show the effects of the cognitive information upon the real practice of the basket tactical action. The study also offers the generalization effect of the action learned and an
improvement in the general tactical resources of the players in the experimental group with respect to the control group.
