Abstract
The learning of technique is produced as
a cyclic process between practice (reproduction of an example), observation (usually visual), evaluation of what is seen, intervention of what is seen and again practice, reproducing the example with its corresponding
corrections.
From the didactic point of view, the concept of sport technique takes on the role of an ideal pattern of movement which should be reproduced by the sportsman/woman.
In those sports where the performance levels basically depend on the mechanisms of
perception and decision and the changing game situations (basketball, handball…),
the technical level required seems to be more basic than in those sports in which the level
is greater in aspects of perception-performance and in performance itself.
