Abstract
The purpose of this descriptive paper is analysing the different observation instruments utilized in studies dealing with time management, physical education (PE) teachers and students activities in the PE setting. All these instruments are clasified following their focus observation:
a) for the study of the student’s behaviour;
b) for the study of the PE teacher’s behaviour, and
c) global instruments.
Different studies using these instuments were briefly described.
