Abstract
Coinciding with the fortieth anniversary of the National Institute of Physical Education of Catalonia (INEFC), the journal Apunts. Educación Física y Deportes has turned thirty. Having reasons for any celebration, especially if it is twofold, is always gratifying and grounds for congratulation, especially to all those who have helped make this anniversary possible. The work done by the various teams that over this time have taken responsibility for writing, editing and publishing the journal should be recognised.
