Abstract

The effects of the application of an automated system for the learning in tennis with conditions of contextual interference have been studied. This system acquires data of the precision of the strokes by means of a video-based protocol. Once the images were recorded, the variable error of the bounces was digitalized to analyze the consistency of the strokes. The performance of 8 participants were analyzed after a 3 weeks period of learning, and 4 retention tests were carried out to check the maintenance of their learning. The results showed an improvement of the four practiced strokes, besides a non noticeable loss of the performance after the periods without practice.
