Abstract
Determining the way in which sport influences young people’s education is a very complex matter. Reflection on this subject is the basis of the present study, which focuses on adolescents’ habits regarding and attitudes towards sport, together with their opinions and those of their parents and coaches, mainly on the educational value of sport. The study, which was carried out in the Principality of Andorra, is based on a triangulation of information sources provided by specific questionnaires answered by each of the three population sectors that are most involved in this activity. The results represent a sociograph of the sports habits of the adolescents in this country, which describes the reality of this activity in the dawn of the 21st century from the perspective described.
