Abstract
The influence of the practice of football in the evolution of the strenght, the flexibility and the speed in schoolboys The aim of this research is to assess the influence of the usual practice of football on some factors of psyshical condition, (explosive strength of legs, flexibility and speed) in boys from 7 to 14 years old. On the other hand we want to assess the correlation among this factors, to compare the results with children who don´t play football and to analize the influence of this sport in the growth. The sample (n) is formed by 106 boys who practice federate football in the autonomous community of Castilla and León. In first place we assessed the weight and the height of participants and then, we made three tests of assessment of psyshical condition that are integrated in EUROFIT: flexion of the trunk from seated position, horizontal jump and run 10 x 5 m. The data show the influence of the practice of football in the flexibility and speed when we compared the data with schoolboys of the same autonomous comunnity. They also show the correlation between strength and speed.
