Abstract
At the present time in team sports, observation and analysis of the game are becoming important aspects as a key factor in performance improvement. For this reason, it is necessary to be able to justify, more rigorously, the creation of new tendencies in the strategic planning and technical systems in each sport.
Following this, the present article shapes the process realized in the study of the kicking play in rugby, with the object of being able to determine the grade of effectivity and the factors which determine their use during the development of the game.
