Abstract
Decision-making is a key aspect in performance in any team sport. In this paper we present the PROTODEBA v1.0
program, developed for the study and analysis of the analytical decision-making of a handball team and its players in different
attack sequences. The program makes it possible to observe the behaviour of players in three observational categories,
namely location, transfer and termination, providing participation and decision-making rates for the team as a whole, for
each player and for the various sequences in a game. It also presents an example of the implementation of the software in a
high-level handball game.
