Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discover the levels of regular physical activity in adult population of Huesca, in the age range 20 to 64 years and also trying to detect those poblational sectors who have low levels of physical activity. The free time physical activity questionnaire (AFTL) Tuero (1998), that registers the energy spent in free time activities as well as in domestic ones, was used in this study. The results conclude that women have a higher total energy spent (GET), and a higher energy spent for free time activities (GETL), though in this case the are not significant differences. Following the results, 31,3% of the adult population in Huesca are sedentaries, being the most inactive those who are in the age range 25 to 39 and 50 to 59 years
