Abstract
Our Cover Page is occupied by a pretty and spectacular board dedicated to the inauguration of INEFC’s new head office on June 21, 1991. On an intense light blue background we can see an important part of the building of the Acropolis and, in the upper right corner of the page, some little fragments of three rings with the olympic colors: yellow, red, and green. The original is from the artists Pilar Villuendas and Josep Ramon Gómez. Both authors created in 1980 a specialized study in graphic design and communication, essentially in social-cultural grounds. They truely are a team that has worked for the local and autonomic Catalan administration and for every type of public and private companies. Since 1985 they have been distinguished with numerous LAUS awards, which are anually given by the Association of Art Directors and Graphic Designers of the Promotion of Decorative Arts (ADG-FAD), and in 1987 with the Tourism Almara National award, and the Institute of Catalan Letters award. As we will see, Pilar Villuendas and Josep Ramon Gómez had an important artistic collaboration during the olympic period of Barcelona ’92.
