Abstract
This work tries to bring something to the world of judo training, as, in discovering some aspects of the temporal structure of the fights, we shall have clearer orientations at the moment of organizing and planning the training sessions.
For those reasons, we have studied 144 fights from different phases of the competition and different weights of the world championships held in Barcelona in 1991, and from there, we have made a statistical work with time as the key element of the study.
