Abstract
In this document we make a short revision of the subject of evaluation in PE, as the first step to make a proposal and present some of the more general results of its being put into practice by a large group of PE teachers over the last six courses. We start by explaining the evolution of the working group and the reasons that cause us to make the effort to find systems and PE evaluation instruments that are more formative. In the second part we make a series of reflections on the theme of evaluation, connecting it with wider frame works of thought ad rationality, which help us to understand it better. In the third part we develop a series of criticisms and thoughts on the dominant models of evaluation in PE. Finally, in the fourth chapter, we make a proposal on possible work and performance outlines when looking for a formative evaluation in PE, and we present a brief analysis of the more general results of the systems and evaluation instruments checked in practice.
