Abstract
This article puts forward a series of ideas in respect to the more ideal ways to work with endurance in combat sports featuring holds in general and more concretely in Olympic bouts and judo.
The fundamental objective is to try and show that the physical preparation does not have to be very different from the normal training that takes place in the .fight rooms or tatamis, rather the opposite. By way of what we call “integrated methodology” technical aspects and tactics are combined with the development of the conditional capacities.
We also propose systems of training that aim to rationalize the preparation process of the fighters; we suggest different types of work combining: exercises, level of opposition of the adversary and time of work time of recuperation, that has to take into consideration the period of the season in which we are or the type of endurance we want to develop.
