Abstract

This article analyses the present day situation of Primar)/ School Physical Education teachers in Barcelona, in the face of diversity The work is based on the analysis of attitude and professional development as vital, inter-related elements for the success of attention to diversity It is a socioeducative study about the situation (attitude and formation) of the teachers with respect to the students with special educative needs. The summary of the data was realised beginning with a questionnaire amongst a sample of PE. teachers. The authors confirm in the work the positive and generalised reply of the PE. teachers towards integration, the pedagogical limitations of the teachers, their difficulties in bringing about adequate individual curriculum, the formation in the face of diversity appears inadequate and should be centred on more methodological aspects, and in the knowledge of the various special educative needs.
