Abstract
In this paper a test to measure the different and specific capacities to react at the same time with auditory stimuli is presented. The test allows to measure time or spontaneous tempo, the perception of rhythmical structures, the capacity of
apprehension or immediate memory of the
rhythmical structures, the capacity of anticipation and synchronization and also the psychomotor abilityns
to control the responses.
The validation of the test proposed is theoretical and is based upon the traditional tests of rhythm but some new tests are added in order to cover the different abilities involved in rhythmical
performances. The interest of the test proposed is to see if it can be used as a predictor of performance in music, dance, rhythmical, and artistical gymnastics. The test is presented as software to be used in a personal computer with a tactual sensitive device.
