The limitations that impose the aging process can be palliated for physical exercise, but it should be individualized to each elder´s characteristic. In this way, it´s necessary the assessment of physical fitness. Senior Fitness Test (SFT) is a test for such assessment, and it is one of the few ones that is adapted to elder. For this reason we use this test for assess the functional physical fitness of a elder group which develop a physical exercise program. 22 womens and 11 mens (67,36±4,79 años) participated in this study, which performed the SFT that consist in 6 test (Rikli y Jones, 2001). The results indicates that older mens obtain a better punctuations in strength test and aerobic test, however the older womens have more arm flexibility. When it was calculated the percentiles of each test according normative values of SFT they didn´t exist differences between sexs and it happens that the group has high values of strength and acceptable flexibility, but the aerobic capacity is the most limitated. It becomes indispensable to develop references for Spanish population.
