Abstract
The present article presents the results of an investigative work: Physical Activity training plan adapted to disabilities, for sports specialists from towns and cities in the province of Barcelona. The purpose of this study is to detect training needs and then establish the design of a training plan addressed to sports specialists of the province of Barcelona, focused on the area of Physical Activity adapted for people with disabilities.
For the detection of training needs we have applied two research methods: distribution of questionnaires to be filled by 202 sports specialists from municipal sports facilities in the Barcelona province, and the collaboration technique applied to a group of 21 sports specialists and technical directors.
The results show a great heterogeneity of training and on this basis we propose a Training Plan that takes into account observed needs, ranging from the information stage up to the innovation research through research action.
