Abstract
The investigation presented provides a description of balance between 4 and 74 years. Our primary goal was to get a description and analysis of the evolution of body balance using a static balance test and a dynamic balance test. In the methodology section they are detailed the protocols of administration and conditions of these two measures. The article also includes norms tests related to age as practical information for professionals. The results obtained show an exponential increase of the balance performance between 4 and 18 years, top level performance between 19 and 23 years and maintenance of this level of performance until 30 years. Starting at the age of 33 years, a decrease in the balance performance is observed, which is accentuated at the age of 53 years.
