Physical education and health field professionals are aware of the advantages of physical activity practice for health and therein lies the aim they must have at increasing the number of people that practice this physical exercise and trying to keep those who are now doing it positively adhered. This study attempts to change the attitudes concerning physical activity in primary school children through an intervention programme based in physical activity for health (P A for H). For the results measurement a CATPA inventory (Children’s Attitudes Towards Physical Activity inventory) has been used. Once the data have been got we have come to the conclusion that after the intervention programme meaning full changes have been achieved only when the attitudinal dimension of physical activity and several items of different attitudinal dimensions are concerned.
