Abstract
Traditionally the teaching of the sport games has granted an excessive emphasis to the sport skills, arising like reaction new propose that confers more prominence to the child and the game. In this work a great bibliographical revision is made in which different elements are examined from the process of education-learning grouped in three great blocks as they are the theoretical foundations, factors related to the content and factors related to the student and the teacher. As much the traditional approach of sport initiation like the alternative proposals, specially the understanding approach, contemplates these elements although with very different shades, appearing the new the most guessed right methodology expositions like. In addition, a series of guidelines is contributed to carry out much more suitable a sport initiation and in a more pedagogical context, emphasizing among others, that the children not only have to execute the motor ability correctly, but also have to learn to process the information and to solve problems in a dynamic context of playful activities.
