Abstract
The aim of this study was to use a valid and reliable system of categories to analyze the quality indicators (n=83) of
the service charters of the Associations of Municipalities in Extremadura concerning physical activity and sport. We used a
qualitative methodology involving a content analysis of the quality commitments. The system of variables was divided into
three dimensions: purpose (target audience), theme (aspect that it is about) and time (when the indicator is measured). The
results indicate that the joint sports facilitation services focus on achieving user participation results through an increase in
the number of activities and the way of carrying them out, taking into consideration feedback and marketing. The time period
most frequently used in the measurement of the indicators is annual. The indicators relating to facilities and financial, human
and material resources are not listed in the service charter.
