Abstract

The childhood is a transcendental period in the process of formation, in which the pedagogical disciplines should contribute to the adequate development of the different dimensions of human beings, deepening in the knowledge of the characteristics present in each of the stages of this period. The Physical Education in its reference to promote health and the primary prevention of the illness should take possession of this period of the vital human process, taking part from the earlier years of life through programs that get the communities and individuals to act in a more healthful way and decrease the prevalence of risk factors. In the text we propose a series of rules and strategies leading the Physical Education teachers and other professionals of applied sciences to the physical activities interested in the sportive initiation with infants that have an percentage excessive of body fat.
