Abstract
Our cover page is taken by a board coming from the Sport’s Library Collection, its 48 x 34.5 cm, made in the year 1930 by Valentí Castanys (1898-1995). As it can be seen, the board announcesthe Danc of Sports celebrated on February 15 of the current year 1930 (after this date it was reused several times). The board shows three men, a young lady, and an element with an aspect similar to a humanized football, all of them dressed with costumes and attitudes of those of halloween. On top of that, it informs us that the dance is organized by the Union of Sports Journalists1 and to what it seems to indicate, the event will have a Modernist Bohemian environment.
