Abstract
Throughout history the social mass has extracted the most suitable personalities so as to serve as archetypes, as exemplary guides inciting this exemplariness to the uniformity of conduct. This paper shows the clear role of the sporting champion regarding the structure of the collective conscience in the Spanish postmodern society.
