Abstract

 It is considered probed that the physical activity and the sport practise keep direct relation with the self-concept and that this relation is bidirectional. But this affirmation precises to be clarified since also it is known, for example, that they don’t derive without more beneficial effects of all physical activity, that associations have been found between the corporal dissatisfaction and the excessive physical exercise or that turns out inadequate to allude to self-concept of generic form without differentiating dimensions from the same one. In this study, made with 343 students of 13 to 16 years, facts from a new Questionnaire of Physical Self-concept are offered that allow needing the existing relationship between the physical self-concept and variables such as, sport practise, genus, age, the index of corporal mass and the degree of corporal satisfaction.
