Abstract
We met the art of Carme Albaigés at the ends of the year 1991in Petritxol sreet in Barcelona. It is worth explaining, for those who don’t know her, that Petritxol is an emblematic street; short and narrow, positioned west of the Ramblas, on whcih the people from Barcelona feel a great sentimental attachement due to its characteristic establishments. You can find some bakeries, several art rooms and expositions, amongst which Sala Parés stand out, the oldest of the city (1840), and the little library Quera of great tradition, specialized in mountain themes, which has celebrated its 90 birthday this year.
