Abstract

Infantile training has to be a training and personal development tool, broad, complete and balanced and not just a way of winning or bettering a result. Childhood is a stage so wonderful and important for the later development of a little girl or boy that it shouldn’t be sacrificed prematurely, for the sake of short-term results. A classical definition of sport training says: It is the process of adaptation to external stimulus, organised rationally to reach a specific finality. This definition alerts us to the importance that planning —long, half and short term- objectives, contents and systems or methods of training has, for the creation of a “rational whole” coherent, objective and real. Another aspect, perhaps the most important from my point of view, is the physiological; how does the individual organism respond to sports training? How does the infantile organism adapt to training stimulus? What will be the most appropriate methods to reach these adaptations? How does one distribute the training tasks over a period? They are questions of primary importance before starting a training session and therefore, help in constructing a correct planification.
