They all have a presence on the social media Facebook and Twitter. This article presents results that compare their readership with respect to their number of followers in the social media. It also inquires into the levels of interaction with their users. To carry out the study, a quantitative methodology was used since content analysis is considered the most reliable method for this purpose. One of the main conclusions is that the social media followers do not correspond with their readership in printed newspaper.
