In addition, it investigates which types of activities they believe to be the most appropriate as regards the values and benefits they offer. The study employs a qualitative approach and AQUAD 6 software is used to analyse the data. The results reveal that the participants perceive that gymnastics activities promote personal and social values and skills such as self-esteem, confidence, cooperation, and team work, amongst others. The participants identify Acrosport as the activity which offers most opportunities for the development of pupils\u2019 abilities during learning.
