There is a pressing need to devise a strategic plan to enhance Spanish physical activity and sports science journals in order to adapt them to changing times. In response to this challenge, we have studied the universe of Spanish scientific journals in our academic and professional sphere through a combination of an examination of the network of external and internal figures that influence this area of publishing (stakeholders) and SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats and Opportunities) analysis.
