The most accepted structure of physical self-awareness is that which considers four dimensions (Fox &amp; Corbin, 1989): physical ability, physical condition, physical attraction and strength (Asci, Asci, &amp; Zorba, 1999; Cox, 2009; Go\u00f1i &amp; Ruiz de Az\u00faa, 2009; Guti\u00e9rrez, Moreno, &amp; Sicilia, 1999). The aim of this study was to find possible differences in the dimensions of physical self-awareness according to gender and, within this, according to age, in the area of Physical Education. 574 students in Compulsory Secondary Education in the Valencia Community took part, aged between 11 and 17 years, and answered the SPQ Questionnaire. The results show differences in various dimensions of physical self-awareness according to gender and according to age.
