The analysis begins with the subjective dimension of leisure, as well as the meaning of physical-sports recreation and body conception in postmodern societies. In this way, the analysis distinguishes two basic body conceptions: \u2018body as product\u2019and \u2018body as experience\u2019, which lead towards two perspectives of physical-sports recreation: utilitarian and emancipative.
