Futsal is one of the most practised sports in Spain. Its safety and efficacy practice needs specific footwear according to players requirements. The few epidemiological revisions show the most common injuries are ankle sprains and muscular injuries. To prevent or minimized this kind of injuries is necessary a sport footwear with high performance features. Moreover, its design should take into account comfort and performance variables. Therefore, the present study expounds an analysis methodology to achieve design criteria to develop high quality futsal shoes. This task is carried out attending users\u2019 mind; analysing the game characteristics and proving the design solutions existing in the market. The methodological development is based on the analysis of footwear arising from mechanical, biomechanical, sport performance and comfort criteria. The put into practice of this study will assist to insight on futsal sport and its shoes.<\/p>\n\n
