This work grew as a result of the importance of sports results in various fields of life, and the difficulty, ever greater, to better records. One of the possibilities of bettering the results is to increase the mechanical efficiency of the gestures in different sporting specialities, that is to say, to perfect the technique. For this we suggest the use of biomechanics as a useful tool, which together with the knowledge associated with it and the instrumental techniques used, will permit us to evaluate and propose alternatives to certain motor actions. The identifi- cation and the knowledge of the variable mechanics that take part in the sporting technique results are the first step in what also must take part biomechanics and technicians so as later to use instrumental techniques which allow us to measure these variables.
