This is an experimental study upon the factors or variables that explain the temporal adjustment degree of the responses to a stimulus’s presentation. This study has been made in a standard situation of temporal orientation in which each subject had to react to an elicitor stimulus preceded by a warning signal.
The factors studied have been: Contiguity Generalization, Variability, Probability, Complexity and Practice Distribution. The concretion of general psychological factors in the case of temporal orientation and the data obtained, confirm the importance of psychological quantitative analysis in the explanation of the variations in individual performance.
This study is also presented as an example of how to proceed in the determination of the factors in a so called “psychological field”, separately and in interaction.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
