Without a shadow of doubt, as a social element that it is, sport forms part of a mental picture built around a collective \u201cus\u201d, and therefore, being a defining element of identity, also susceptible to become an instrument of integration. Another problem would be to know what we understand by integration and, on the other hand what are the mechanisms by which sport can be used as an element\/instrument in this integration.
