In this paper, besides collect the information concerning strength training in children over the last years, the factors which affect in a direct manner on its application and development, different types and means of strength training which are used in this age (prepuberal), the effects on structural plane and strength gains, its relation with development of other capacities, sexual differences, its evaluation as soon as the precautions which must be taken to reduce the risks of this training have been determined. In this way, the controversy, that has been on for several years about the viability for the strength training with children between a lot of professionals of physical education and training has been tried to be resolved, independently of any sport training.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
