The best performaces registered during 1998, 1999 and 2000 seasons were used. For the 8 first analyzed positions, important differences in the percentage difference respect to the best time were shown, in the swimming and running sections, being null in cycling. Considering that the biggest differences were observed during running event, we could think in this section as the most relevant for the final competition result.
