The teacher\u2019s implicit theories about education are in a group of aspects which condition his decisions. These theories are a bunch of personal beliefs which rule the teachers\u2019 behaviour in front of a specific situation. This essay intends to get a closer approach to these theories and analyses them according to their presence and influence on the teachers\u2019 thinking and their consequences on the teaching and learning process.
