However it should be pointed out that up until now there are very few publications that have gone deeply either quantitatively or qualitatively in abdominal exercising the water.<br \/>Departing from a biodimensional use of camera and video a cinematic analysis has been done of 12 aquatic exercises of trunk flexion using abdominal muscles. As the study is its preliminary stage only one subject was used. The anthropometric model used for the cinematic analysis consisted in an alambric model of 3 segments: thigh, pelvis and lumbar zone. These 3 segments determine the 2 angles of interest: hip angle and lumbar angle. The results obtained have backed up the efficiency and security of most of the proposed movements.
