The premature death of an athlete re-awakens our worries of the potentially negative effects of sport. Now, a recent death of a the cyclist Pantani produces the same experience of restlessness and uneasyness which has followed us before, as consequence of the death of other athletes. We are forced to ask ourselves what’s happening to sports in general and particularly in at high performance level, when there’s people that, according to all clues, succumb to a state of things which they can’t face and which leads them to lack of concentration, hasty search of solutions, or states of depression which can end up in the commitment of suicide.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
